Pastor Myrue Spivey

Upon being saved on October 4, 1975, from a life of sin and crime, immediately the Lord gave Myrue a real hunger for His Word.  He began taking correspondence courses from Back To Bible Radio ministry prepared by Dr. Theodore Epp and other godly coworkers.  Myrue also used study notes from Thru The Bible Radio with Dr. J. Vernon McGhee to further his understanding of God’s Word.  However, it was not long before Myrue’s insatiable appetite for God’s Word led him to attend Miami Christian College for some formal Bible training.

The Lord blessed Myrue with his 1st lovely wife, Patricia P. Spivey (deceased), sovereignly using them as instruments of grace, to found Grace Bible Sanctuary (GBS). This November (2022) will mark 43 years Myrue has served the Lord as senior pastor of GBS. Myrue & Patricia has 5 adult children, all professes Christ, 16 grandchildren & 6 great grands. In 2015 the Lord blessed Myrue with his lovely wife Dawn, who serves faithfully in the women’s ministry, publish the church’s monthly prayer guide and other capacities at Grace Bible Sanctuary.
